What you get for £15

In your 60-minute session

A one-to-one assessment with a qualified coach in Lab 1 or Lab 2. We score six movement patterns (squat, hinge, push, pull, single-leg, carry) on a 1–5 scale, talk through what’s going on in plain English, and flag anything that needs physio input.

The day after 

A written report of your scores and a short personalised training programme, sent by video, built around your level and your schedule.

The standalone price is £100. This month it’s £15 so we can fill the diary and meet more of the Leith community. No ongoing commitment, no hard sell.

What we assess, and why it matters

These six patterns are the basis of how your body moves in the gym, at work, and in life. Get them right and almost every training goal becomes reachable. Miss them, and niggles, plateaus, and injury risk compound.

Squat

How you sit, stand and generate strength through your hips and knees.

Hip Hinge

How you lift, brace, and protect your back under load.

Push

Upper-body strength for daily tasks and sport.

Pull

Shoulder health, posture control and upper-body balance.

Single-Leg

Balance, joint control, and injury resilience.

Carry

Real-world core strength and whole-body capacity under load.

Measured on Levels 1–5

Each movement pattern is graded from Level 1 (your starting point, wherever that is) to Level 5 – what we call our “strong enough for life” standard. That’s the level that supports an active lifestyle, protects your joints, and keeps injury risk low, without needing training to become your part-time job!

You can always go further. But beyond Level 5, the extra returns rarely justify the extra time investment for most people.
