Hi, I’m Kubo, a fitness professional with over 10 years of experience, originally from Slovakia. I came to Scotland to study Sports Science and have been helping people improve their health, fitness, and quality of life ever since.

My Approach
I believe fitness is about far more than looking good in the gym—it’s about empowering individuals to be able to enjoy life. My coaching combines science-based training principals, practical nutrition strategies, and personalised support to help clients not only achieve their goals but also sustain them long-term.


Personal Story
My first dream was to become a professional basketball player. When I realised that wasn’t going to happen, I channelled my passion for movement into studying Sports Science.
After graduating, I worked as a gym instructor, but found the big gym environment made it difficult to give people the attention they needed. That’s what drove me to start my own business—and even through the challenges of lockdown, it thrived.
Later, Health by Science invited me to join their team, where I now focus on helping people build strength, move well, and enjoy the process.
How I Can Help You
Whether you’re training for a big endurance event, rebuilding your fitness after a setback, or simply wanting to feel stronger and more confident, I’ll help you train smart, eat well, and recover properly.
I also coach our Thrive Classes, which provide a supportive environment for building strength and fitness at any level.


Outside of Work
I love taking on big physical challenges to see just how far my mind and body can take me. I enjoy taking on these challenges alone, but also with my partner, Hannah. Together, we’ve cycled, run, and kayaked 107 miles across the north of Scotland.
For us, training, eating, and recovering properly weren’t just about performance—they were about being able to spend quality time together, stay healthy, and enjoy the adventure. That’s what I want for every client I work with: better health, more energy, and the freedom to enjoy life with the people who matter most.
