Intro / Who I Am
I’m Sebastian, a Sports Massage Therapist and Personal Trainer here at Health by Science.
I specialise in sports rehabilitation, massage therapy, and strength & conditioning, helping people of all backgrounds — from the general population and older adults to busy professionals and semi-pro or pro athletes — achieve a wide range of goals: from moving better, getting stronger, and building confidence in their bodies, to lifting heavier, running faster, and striking harder.


Qualifications & Expertise
- BSc (Hons) Sports Rehabilitation – Queen Margaret University, Edinburgh
- HND & HNC Sports Therapy – Edinburgh College
- Level 2 Personal Trainer with Nutrition
- Certified in Sports Massage Therapy and Advanced Soft Tissue Techniques

Personal Story
After being active in a wide range of sports throughout my life, I made a life-changing decision to follow my passion for human movement and health.
Through years of study and hands-on experience — including placements with sports teams and working with clients managing stroke, arthritis, diabetes, and neuromuscular conditions — I discovered how much potential people have to improve, no matter their starting point.
That journey taught me that recovery isn’t just about the body — it’s about mindset, patience, and consistency. These values now shape everything I do with my clients.

Outside of Work
When I’m not in the gym, you’ll often find me training Muay Thai, cycling around Edinburgh, or exploring the outdoors. From time to time, I like to raise my adrenaline levels with skydiving or other not-so-everyday sports that push my limits and bring pure excitement.
I also enjoy reading, mindfulness, and experimenting with ways to build positive habits—constantly challenging myself to try new sports and experiences. Living healthily isn’t just my job—it’s my lifestyle.
